The upper floors from part ground + five floors up will be converted to nine apartments by the designs of Brimelow McSweeney Architects.
This classical design portland stone Grade II listed building on the corner of Piccadilly and Albemarle Street was built in 1922-23 as a bank, with offices and residential accommodation above. Designed by William Curtis Green.
2016 April - Planning permission granted for:
Use of part basement, part ground and first to sixth floors as nine residential units (Class C3), associated internal alterations at all floor levels and external alterations including the installation of dormer windows at mansard roof level, removal of rear fire escape stairs at fifth and sixth floors, creation of terrace at the fifth-floor level and installation of plant within enclosures at first - fourth and sixth floors.[1]
