Timeline

The existing 8-storey 109,000 sq ft building Leadenhall Court from 1988 stood directly adjacent to Leadenhall Market. The building, now demolished, was designed by GMW Partnership.

2018 December - Planning permission granted for demolition of the existing building and redevelopment to provide a 36 storey building with 28 floors for office use (Class B1) with retail floorspace (Class A1-A4) at basement, ground and fourth floor, office lobby and loading bay at ground floor, a publicly accessible terrace at the fourth floor, 5 floors of plant and ancillary basement cycle parking (63,613m2 GIA). City of London application no. 18/00740/FULEIA.

1988 - A seven-storey office building with retail at the ground floor, and two basement levels was constructed in 1988. The building contains ca 15,277m2 of floorspace,
and includes 729m2 of retail floorspace.
