Marco Polo Tower is a building at Royal Wharf in London's Royal Docks in London E16.
Royal Wharf is a residential-led mixed-use development extending to ca 37 acres (15 ha) with extensive River Thames frontage.
1, 2, 3 or 4 bedroom homes: studio suites, apartments, duplexes and town houses, with balconies, roof terraces, courtyards or private gardens.
The site had planning consent for a 363,000m2 development, with 3,385 homes, a new school, shops (5,000 m2), offices (15,000 m2) and riverside restaurants, catering for a population that is estimated to reach 10,000 by completion.
In addition to this, scattered around the development are many secluded pocket parks, garden squares and tree lined avenues. 45% of the development is devoted to green space.
Royal Wharf has excellent transport links into the heart of London via the Docklands Light Railway, a new Crossrail station (opening in 2018), and international connections from London City Airport and boat links from a proposed brand new pier.
Royal Wharf Clubhouse
Royal Wharf Clubhouse designed by David Morley Architects completed in 2019. The Clubhouse at Royal Wharf is a residents' only Health Club, offering the latest state-of-the-art gym equipment. The club includes a 25m indoor swimming pool with space for poolside relaxation loungers. The glazed front sauna & steam cabins open out to the hydrotherapy spa pool with massaging water features, and experience showers are provided close by. Devin Consulting provided consultation for design and specification of the pool water treatment systems, heat experience cabins, and reinforced concrete pool tanks.
History
2020 March - Help to Buy launch.
2016 October - launch of John Cabot House. The building comprises comprises suites, one, two and three bedroom apartments.
