The redevelopment of the site of the former Chelsea Barracks will provide a maximum of 363 new homes with a mix of private homes for sale and affordable homes including ‘extra care' housing for the elderly.
The variety of sizes and types of homes including apartments, town and mews houses is intended to help the development ‘blend in'.
Shops, sports, health and community facilities
There will be a range of cultural and small-scale retail uses, as well as a new community sports facility with a 25m swimming pool and a medical centre on Ebury Bridge Road. An 80-room boutique hotel is proposed for the corner of Pimlico Road and Chelsea Bridge Road.
