Overview

The Chilterns is a mixed-use building in Marylebone, London W1.

The building comprises 60 flats (44 private, 16 affordable) and commercial premises.

The display of the different vertical colours and designs on the exterior of the building represents music records on shelves. This was inspired by the Beatles' legendary Apple Boutique, which used to be located a few doors down from The Chilterns site.

The entrance hall featured photographs of Marylebone by David Bailey upon completion in 2015. These exclusive photographs were made into a book, of which each resident was given a copy.

The interiors were designed by Rabih Hage. The packages included: Timeless, The Collector and The Minimalist.

Apartments had bespoke kitchens with the Gaggenau and Miele appliances and the fingerprint reader access control will ensure optimum privacy and security.

The exclusive residential club has a gym, which is an impressive 990 sq. ft., a steam room and sauna facilities. The amenities include a private cinema room for entertaining up to 10 guests.

History

The prices for 44 private flats started from £3m and came with an original framed photograph of Marylebone by David Bailey, each worth around £20,000 (*1).
