#1 The Arc

The Arc development at 225 City Road in Shoreditch, London EC1, is set to launch on the 21st of January 2021. Belgium-based developer Ghelamco is building a 22-storey tower designed by AHMM, which contains 100 new homes on top of 150,000 sq ft of office and retail space. Register your interest now to make sure you’ll be one of the first to reserve your new best studio, 1, 2 or 3-bed apartment.

What’s new? Multiplex has been appointed as the main contractor for London’s second Rosewood Hotel on the site of the US Embassy at 30 Grosvenor Square. 137 spacious guest rooms and suites will be built, as well as a variety of dining and entertainment spaces, including five gourmet restaurants. Guests will be able to enjoy the spa, as well as six flagship retail spaces and a grand ballroom with space for up to 1,000 people. Designed by Sir David Chipperfield, the new hotel is expected to open in 2023.

What’s new? The first of the 13 townhouses in Phase 2 of the Chelsea Barracks development in Belgravia was brought to the market with a price tag of $49m, reports Architectural Digest. Designed by PDP London, the houses were inspired by Georgian London architecture.

Completing in 2023, The Whiteley will deliver 139 residences, 20 shops, cafes and restaurants, a central public courtyard, a cinema, a gym and London’s flagship Six Senses hotel and spa with 110 rooms, all set behind a retained and restored Grade II-listed façade.
