10-16 Bevis Marks
Key Details
Overview
10-16 Bevis Marks is a commercial development by Sterling in the City of London EC3.
Designed by AHMM architects, the project will retain and adapt the building into a commercial-led, mixed-use scheme with 24 new serviced apartments on the upper floors and commercial/cultural spaces on the ground floor.
The fourth floor will be repurposed for boutique serviced accommodation for visitors and business travellers.
The ground floor will be transformed into vibrant cultural and retail spaces, improving the public realm.
The existing building was built in 1981.
The site is next to Europe's oldest synagogue in continuous use, the Grade I listed Bevis Marks Synagogue. The synagogue has been operational since 1701.
