Overview

Wick First is a residential-led mixed-use development by Notting Hill Genesis around Hackney Wick station in London E9.

The scheme will provide 190 new homes, 50% of which will be affordable, and which will be 5% larger than national standards. Across four buildings there will be a mix of London Affordable Rent, shared ownership and private sale housing.

Creatives and small businesses will be able to benefit from more than 4,000m2of commercial space, (24%) of which will be secured as low cost.

There will also be more than 4,000m2 of new, high-quality public space and residential play areas, roof terraces and podiums.

Full planning approval is expected late 2022. The buildings and public realm are due to be completed in 2025.

The site is owned by the London Legacy Development Corporation and sits on the border of Hackney and Tower Hamlets. Neighbouring buildings include Stonemasons Yard.
