Overview

The infill development at Tybalds Estate will create 56 new homes in Holborn, London WC1.

The scheme designed by Matthew Lloyd Architects at Camden Council-owned estate will provide houses and apartments, including 28 affordable units and 28 private sale units.

The affordable homes comprise 16 homes for Camden social rent and 12 affordable homes delivered by a housing association.

The existing community space will be replaced with a modern building.

Before the redevelopment, there are eight post-war blocks (Chancellors Court, Babington Court, Blemndsbury, Devonshire, Windmill, Springwater, Richbell, Falcon), six slab blocks and two towers at Tybalds Estate.
