Overview

Sherwood Close is the regeneration of a housing estate by Latimer in Ealing, London W13.

The redevelopment of Sherwood Close includes demolishing the existing residential units and constructing a new set of homes, including a mix of social rented, shared ownership, leaseholder, and market sale properties. The residential units range from one-bedroom flats to larger-family homes.

The project will enhance public spaces with upgraded play areas and improved accessibility through new and improved routes.

The project includes landscaped gardens, both private and shared, and parking facilities with a combination of undercroft and on-street spaces.

The development will feature community spaces and create new connections to surrounding neighbourhoods and streets.

Phase 3
Clarion was granted detailed planning consent in October 2015 to deliver new
homes across three phases at Sherwood Close. The final phase will provide 185 new modern homes for families, and improved public green space including a pocket park and a communal garden for all residents to enjoy.

Sherwood Close Estate

Sherwood Close is a 1970s estate owned by Ealing Council. In 2008, the council identified that major works were needed to bring the estate and its 209 homes up to the Government’s Decent Homes Standard.
