Overview

Gallions Quarter is a mixed-use development adjacent to Gallions Reach DLR station near Royal Albert Dock, London E16.

Phase 2
Gallions Place launched in May 2021. 241 new homes in three new apartment blocks, alongside more than 1500 sq m of non-residential space. Of these, 47 homes will be affordable rent, 48 available for shared ownership and 146 for open market sale. Additionally, the site will include a new public square, new recreation areas, and shops and cafes.

Masterplan
The development is controlled by Notting Hill Genesis and Telford Homes has 50 per cent interest in two of the phases to be developed in partnership with NHHG.

Gallions Quarter comprises four separate sites: Gallions 1A, Gallions 2A, Gallions 2B and Armada South, totalling approximately 3.41ha.

The area around the Royal Docks is experiencing significant regeneration and substantial commercial investment following the construction of a new Crossrail station at Custom House, which is due to open in 2018.

History

2016 July - Telford acquires a 50% interest in the two phases of the Gallions Quarter development to be developed in partnership with Notting Hill Housing Group.
