Perceval House
Key Details
Overview
Perceval House is a mixed-use development in Ealing, London W5.
The development site is 1.27 ha (3.14 acres) and is located in the heart of Ealing town centre. It is adjacent to the Grade II listed old Town Hall and the new Dickens Yard residential and retail quarter currently being developed by St George, completed in 2018.
To the south of the site, Land Securities is developing a new cinema and mixed-use scheme, to be known as Ealing Filmworks.
The site is currently dominated by Perceval House office building constructed in the 1980s and occupied by the Council. There is also a car park to the rear of the site with approximately 106 spaces.
The Council owns the site freehold and is the main occupier apart from an area of the building leased to Ealing Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG). Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) lease part of the site for a substation.
In 2021, Ealing Council granted planning permission for The £275m development designed by Patel Taylor/Trehearne Architects that would have featured 477 new homes, of which 50 per cent would have been affordable; a new council headquarters building; a new library and customer services centre; new retail premises; and residential and commercial parking areas.
