Overview

Former Granada cinema building development in London E17.

A historic Grade II* listed building once graced by the likes of The Beatles and The Who will be developed to fully renovate it, bring it back to its former glory and create a destination venue.

The former Granada/EMD will be SOHO Theatre's second venue, joining Dean Street in central London.

2020 June - Plans approved. Planning consultant: Turley.

2018 - The site is purchased by Waltham Forest Council for £2.6 million from the current owners, EMD Walthamstow LLP.

Renovation of the site is estimated to take around three years to complete.
