History

2018 - Construction starts on site. Expected completion July 2019. Principal Contractor: Knight Harwood.

2015 April - Permission granted for: Demolition of the eastern wing of No. 32 Green Street and structures to the rear of No. 16 Dunraven Street; excavation of new basement storey and erection of replacement wing to No. 32 Green Street over basement, lower ground and ground floor levels; erection of rear extension to No. 16 Dunraven Street at basement, lower ground and ground floor level with associated terraces; alteration to dormer windows at roof level; installation of plant at sub-basement, lower ground and fourth floor level; installation of lift within central lightwell of No. 16 Dunraven Street; associated external alterations; and use of extended buildings as a single family dwellinghouse (Class C3). Architect: Wolff Architects. Westminster Council ref. no. 14/01861/FULL

1948 - Permission granted for office use at the ground and first floors with residential units above.

1946 - Grosvenor Estates purchased the building back.

1931 - Purchased by Queen Mary in 1931 for use as a residence for her daughter, the future Princess Royal, and her husband the sixth Earl of Harewood. The royal couple oversaw internal changes to the building and lived there until the start of the war in 1939.

1899 - The building completes. Built by Sidney R.J. Smith for Lord and Lady Ribblesdale.

1897 - Construction of the building commences.
