Cadogan has signed a lease with KXU (KX Urban) at George House.

The exclusive health club operator will provide the perfect addition to the six new luxury stores, already home to UK flagships for international brands Delpozo, Giorgio Armani, Boutique 1 and Red Valentino.

Alongside these retail units, George House comprises a public outdoor courtyard with lush planting, informal café April’s, destination restaurant (to be announced shortly) and office space.

Further small shops have been created to the rear on Pavilion Road – now let to independent food artisans including a butcher, baker, greengrocer and cheesemonger to enhance Chelsea’s ‘village’ feel.

KX Urban is the first of its kind from the long established local health club operator. KXU will be a non-membership fitness and wellbeing hub and will occupy 7,665 sq ft in George House, accessed from Pavilion Road through the Corso Como inspired courtyard. Due to open in Autumn 2017, it will include three studios offering a varied range of group fitness classes, spa and nutrition bar.

Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive of Cadogan said: “KX Urban is a great addition to George House and the wider area, providing more diversity for those who live and work here, or are just visiting. Combined with the new restaurants and breadth of retail from a cheesemonger to couture fashion, it further strengthens Chelsea as one of the world’s most inspiring and desirable neighbourhoods.”

Peter Dubens, Owner, KX, adds: “We’re excited to be bringing an innovative business model to our local community and the wider fitness market with all facilities open on a ‘drop in, pay as you go’ basis. The whole experience, including some unique classes, will see KXU as the destination for London’s health goers.”
