200 Aldersgate has achieved a Wired Certified Platinum rating, ranking its technology infrastructure as amongst the best in the UK.

The scheme, run by international platform WiredScore, helps developers and landlords understand necessary investments to achieve best-in-class connectivity, while enabling occupiers to make an informed decision regarding where they choose to locate their business, by providing greater transparency about the technological infrastructure of a building.

WiredScore commended 200 Aldersgate for its four unique sources of high-speed wireline fibre connectivity, two separate comms intake locations, secure basement-level comms rooms with ample room to accommodate new equipment and two diverse risers.

Peter Ferrari, Chief Executive of AshbyCapital, commented:

“To receive a second Platinum WiredScore rating amongst our portfolio of office buildings highlights our commitment to providing occupiers with the best possible experience now and in the future. With companies increasingly working across borders and time zones and doing more business online, fast and reliable connections are more vital than ever.”

William Newton, EMEA Director, WiredScore, added:

“AshbyCapital continues to demonstrate its dedication to meeting the connectivity requirements of its office building occupiers and we are thrilled to be able to present them with a second Wired Certified Platinum rating, after receiving their first Wired Certification for The Colmore Building in Birmingham.”

AshbyCapital acquired 200 Aldersgate on behalf of its group investment company in 2013. The building is fully let to 27 tenants.
