Cadogan has signed successful restaurateur Bill Granger to George House.

Granger & Co is due to open in late Spring 2017 and will complement the new retail mix brought to the Pavilion Road aspect of George House. The destination restaurant will join the Road’s new independent artisans including a butcher, baker, greengrocer and cheesemonger to enhance Chelsea’s ‘village’ feel.

Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive of Cadogan commented: “Granger & Co is the perfect new addition to Pavilion Road. Its relaxed all-day dining is exactly the right fit for the neighbourhood and I’m sure will fast become a Chelsea favourite.”

Bill Granger said: “I’ve always wanted to open a restaurant in Chelsea, and have been looking for a site for the last ten years, so I jumped at the chance to be a part of Pavilion Road. It’s a food shopping destination with a village feel, and just what I have been waiting for. With Bread Ahead, London Cheesemongers, Natoora and our local butcher from Notting Hill, Provenance as our neighbours, we’re in great company.”

The George House development is part of Cadogan’s on-going stewardship of the area and the Estate’s place-making strategy, which looks to maintain and continually enhance Chelsea as one of the world’s best places in which to live, shop, visit and work. It also includes new contemporary luxury retail on Sloane Street (already now home to flagships for international brands Delpozo, Giorgio Armani, Boutique 1 and Red Valentino), in addition to a new public courtyard with lush planting and KXU, a boutique gym and spa opening in Autumn 2017.
