The new Members’ Room has just been opened at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
Architects at Carmody Groarke have converted the gallery on the top floor of Aston Webb’s Grade I Listed 1909 wing into a new dedicated space for V&A Members.
The design has subtly restored and retained the existing spatial or detail character of the space and where appropriate reinvented architectural features including lighting and furniture.
