The demolition and remediation works are nearing completion at the former Empress Coachworks site in Bethnal Green, reports Aitch Group.
Empress Works will be home to 56 1, 2 & 3 bedroom warehouse-style apartments and 7,000 sqft of new commercial space, with frontage on the Regents Canal.
The development also includes the sensitive rebuilding and reusing of the existing Regency and Victorian cottages.
Construction will start this Summer, with reservations in 2020, and completion in Q2 2021.
