Collins has achieved an excellent 44/45 in its first CCS inspection at The Helix in Wembley.
Collins is currently delivering the £17 million refurbishment to the 21-storey student accommodation building to provide refreshed bedrooms, recreational and reception areas, as well as undertaking substantive remediation works both externally and internally to ensure the building is fire safe.
The project achieved full marks in 4 out of 5 sections of the audit relating to project appearance, protecting the environment.
The project has donated 200 trees to the Trees for Life organisation to offset the carbon emissions directly from the project.
The site is also minimising its use of natural resources by using PIR’s, LED and motion-controlled temporary lighting, which also avoids any potential neighbourhood light pollution.
