Creative Land Trust has acquired 33,000 sq. ft of affordable workspace at the Stone Studios development, reports Telford Homes.

Founded In 2019, the Creative Land Trust aims to secure long term, affordable workspace for London's artists and creatives.

The charity has taken ownership of the space, which will provide long-term, genuinely affordable studios for local artists and creatives across the borough and the wider city.

The space will accommodate up to 180 studios. The workspace will include street frontage studios, highlighting the area’s heritage of the creative light industry.

This acquisition is the first in what will become a portfolio of properties owned by Creative Land Trust, marking a significant step towards the Trust's goal of securing 1000 affordable workspaces for London’s artists and makers.
