New release

Avanton has released a new collection of apartments at its £120 million flagship development Coda in Battersea. The Garden Collection offers apartments with balconies overlooking the scheme’s hidden oasis.

Positioned across floors 1-5, the Garden Collection homes all offer private balconies or terraces that overlook Coda’s Secret Garden. The 18,600 sq. ft. communal gardens provide quality space for relaxing and meditation.

The three striking apartment buildings sit on a raised podium, with the Secret Garden on the roof of this podium flanked by the buildings, so it is hidden from passers-by giving Coda residents their own oasis in the heart of Battersea.

Coda is the central tower reaching 24 storeys, designed by Pankaj Patel MBE of multi-award-winning practice Patel Taylor which is a leader in Thameside architecture.

Coda is now 85% forward sold overall.

The Garden Collection offers 40 two-bedroom apartments. To accompany the launch, Avanton has unveiled two new show apartments showcasing the lifestyle on offer, one by JMI Group and the other by London Design Group.

Avanton highlights that the COVID-19 pandemic has shifted buyer priorities with the majority wanting access to high-quality outside space; every home at Coda has a private balcony or terrace, and every resident has access to the beautiful communal gardens.

The JMI Group show apartment is finished in warm earth tones of moss green, charcoal and taupe, with feature monochrome wallpaper to the main bedroom and textured contemporary artwork throughout the apartment.

The second London Design Group show apartment uses blush pink and light grey details, with a large dressed terrace perfect for al fresco dining. Every home has a high-quality Poggenpohl kitchen with integrated Siemens appliances, with Poliform wardrobes to the main bedrooms and sanctuary-inspired bathrooms.

The Secret Garden has been divided into zones with planting and trellises. There are lawn areas for meditation and yoga and raised decking areas for reading, and the plants chosen are optimised for bees and pollination, to encourage residents to relax year-round.

Coda residents benefit from a private residents’ club lounge, dedicated concierge, and state-of-the-art fitness studio which is set to open next month.

David Ronson, Sales & Marketing Director at Avanton commented: “At Avanton we always design our developments with public realm, landscaping and amenities a key design element rather than an afterthought, as the environment you create is just as important to buyers as the finished homes. With Coda, we often hear from buyers that they had no idea so much greenery and open space was on their doorstep, as well as the iconic River Thames, and we wanted Coda’s landscaping to reflect this connection to nature. Our Secret Garden at Coda offers relaxing, landscaped space for residents to enjoy, a hidden oasis hidden from passers-by. Not only does every home at Coda offer a private balcony or terrace, the new Garden Collection homes all overlook our Secret Garden. We are delighted with the sales success at Coda so far and have already had a number of enquiries for this new collection as Londoners seek homes with access to high-quality outside space.”

The Garden Collection Apartments at Coda start from £770,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
