Private Meetings and Dinners

Despite 116 being viewed very much as a daytime venue, playing host to numerous large scale events as well as many board meetings and breakfast briefings, many members also take advantage of our private dining offers on week nights in order to entertain clients, colleagues, family and friends.

Our smaller function rooms on the second floor are elegantly decorated and beautifully lit and in the evening hours can be transformed from the all familiar business environment into an ornate and lavish dining rooms, with attentive staff serving mouth-watering dishes from our extensive menu.

Banquets and Receptions

When a Banquet for 250 is held in the Nash room, this is when the building truly comes to life. The main staircase provides a magnificent entrance to any function whilst the stunning 15-foot, original, hand-made Regency chandelier provides the lighting. The Waterloo room is extremely popular for drinks receptions and is regularly used in conjunction with the Nash for larger events.

The IoD operates a first-class, in-house catering service, so whether your event is a private meeting for 15 people with a stylish fork buffet, or a product launch for 200 people followed by a three-course lunch, the Institute delivers immaculate service and client care.
