First look at the Terrace Collection

17/06/2021 by Buildington

Avanton has unveiled the look of their upcoming Terrace Collection at Coda Battersea development, with a vibrant show apartment designed by Gordon Duff & Linton.

The Terrace Collection will officially launch this autumn, offering 25 apartments, each with an impressive balcony overlooking London.

This is the third show apartment designed by Gordon Duff & Linton; the first two have both sold quickly with buyers loving the individual theme of each home.

Inspired by luxury resorts in Ibiza and Cancun, the show apartment embraces natural materials, warm green tones and handcrafted elements. Styled as the ultimate retreat, a home that any buyer would love to come home and relax in, the two-bedroom show apartment has a magnificent balcony, accessed from the living area and main bedroom, with views towards the River Thames and across South London.

In the main living area, oak panelling has been used to ground the space and give a focus point, with the designer kitchen’s sleek units complementing the warm green tones chosen. There are pops of print, with leafy houseplants and a chic wall-hanging. The on-trend panelling is continued in the main bedroom, where doors lead onto the private balcony. The balcony has been styled in two zones; an al fresco dining area, perfect for entertaining friends, and a relaxed seating area with fun ‘tipi’ style hanging chair ideal for relaxing in the summer sunshine.

85% of the scheme has now been sold generating over £30 million of deals in 2021. A local sales record has broken after a three-bedroom apartment achieved £1,450 per sq. ft., with buyers drawn to the great views and modern architecture.

Just 45 homes now remain of the total 299, with the recent Garden Collection nearly sold-out. Avanton says they are averaging 20 viewings per week, with buyers coming from London, Europe, and the Middle East, with most of them owner-occupiers.

David Ronson, Sales & Marketing Director at Avanton commented: “We are delighted with how well Coda is being received by interested buyers, with the private balconies and lifestyle amenities proving a huge draw. Londoners want homes that feel like a community, and that is what Coda is delivering; high quality homes, with a great balance of private outside space and more relaxed shared areas where you can get to know your neighbours in the Secret Garden or the state-of-the-art gym. Despite lockdown restrictions, we are proud to have set a new price record, achieving £1,450 per sq. ft. for a three-bedroom apartment, with our deals averaging £1,200 per sq. ft. We look forward to launching the Terrace Collection this autumn but for now the luxe resort-inspired show home by Gordon Duff Linton is a great insight into the upcoming collection.”

Greig Pirie of Gordon Duff & Linton added: “We were delighted to design a third show apartment at Coda, as the first two have been so appreciated and both sold very quickly. This show apartment is inspired by luxury resorts in Ibiza and Cancun; with a balance of natural textures and on-trend materials, we wanted to create the ambience of glamorous retreat. The balcony offers amazing views and it is celebrated throughout this apartment.”

Prices at Coda currently start from £770,000 for a two-bedroom apartment.
