Deka Immobilien has acquired 8 St James's Square office building from the Hong Kong based Golden Sense International Holdings for around £220 million.

The property is to be brought into the portfolio of the open-ended real estate fund Deka-ImmobilienEuropa.

The 8 St James's Square office building has a lettable area of ​​around 5,850 square meters and six parking spaces.

It will be used long-term and almost entirely by five parties, with the multinational banking and financial services company Société Générale being the main tenant.

With this purchase, a first-class property in a prime location was secured for Deka-ImmobilienEuropa.
