Law firm Travers Smith has signed a 158,000 sq ft pre-let at Stonecutter Court.

The development will provide 250,000 sq ft high quality office space, as well as a new pocket park off Farringdon Street.

David Ainsworth, Chief Executive of CO—RE, commented: “Stonecutter Court is a world class building in a fantastic and fast changing part of the City. We are proud to play a part in this important and complex transaction, as the development goes ahead.” -

Richard Saul, Head of Asset Management UK at Ivanhoé Cambridge, said: “Completing an off-plan pre-let during a pandemic is a massive achievement and speaks to the quality of the product. It is testament to how a new workplace designed with wellbeing, and ESG at its heart can be a differentiator for our clients.”

Travers Smith has signed a 15-year lease with Ivanhoé Cambridge and will be taking up 9 top floors. Travers Smith will take 158,000 square feet with an option to take either an additional floor, or reduce by one floor, each of those floors being 20,000 square feet.

The development is expected to complete in late 2024. The firm will move from its current Snow Hill office headquarters in 2025, when the firm's existing property leases will come to an end.
