Neil Taylor, Chief Operating Officer at 4C Hotel Group commented: “We are pleased to continue expanding our hotel portfolio in London with the introduction of the first Westin Hotel in the UK, it’s been an exciting journey bringing this project to conclusion especially through the difficulties of the last 2 years. Located between the Thames and the City square mile, it really is an ideal location for those who are seeking an event venue with well-equipped bedrooms and meeting spaces or alternatively just for a relaxing spa get away. Situated where the final piece of the Thames walkway stood, it has been 80 years in the making in bringing this walkway back for everyday use. As part of this project we have also delivered nine highly designed residential units under the Westin residences brand with links to all the services in the hotel“

Alex Dallocchio, General Manager at Westin London City, commented: "I’m thrilled to debut the Westin Hotels and Resorts brand in London at a time when wellness has never been so important to travellers, and to oversee the opening of this marquee hotel on the iconic River Thames. I’m looking forward to bringing my insight from the US market to London and setting a new standard for wellbeing in the capital”
