Camden Council, St George and WM Morrison Supermarkets have now broken ground at Camden Goods Yard.

The 8-acre brownfield site next to Camden Market will be transformed into a mixed-use neighbourhood, with 644 mixed tenures homes, alongside a new flagship 55,000 sq ft Morrisons supermarket.

Visitors will be able to enjoy a rooftop urban farm, a range of community facilities, shops, cafés, maker workshops, and Grade A office space; including 6,000 sq ft affordable workspace for SMEs.

Piers Clanford, Divisional Managing Director for St George, commented: "The groundbreaking represents a significant milestone in the regeneration of the Camden Goods Yard.
