Societe Generale has sold its headquarters building to a Hong Kong-listed property developer SRE Group for around £84.5m in cash, reports City AM.

SRE Group will lease the property back to the French bank until March 2020, when SocGen moves to its new offices at 1-5 Bank street in Canary Wharf, London E14.
