Show home launch

Aitch Group has launched 6 new show apartments at Park Place.

The show apartments were designed to demonstrate the lifestyle offered within the development, with a variety of layouts and prices to show what buyers can get for their money. The apartments are ready to move into right away, making them ideal for people who want to be in their new home before Christmas.

Because so many buyers were required to view apartments digitally due to limitations during the lockdown, Aitch Group believes it is critical that purchasers now have the opportunity to visit the development and experience the flats in person.

The new show apartments at Park Place each have a different style to appeal to a mix of buyers. They are spread across numerous floors inside the property, so each one has a unique layout and outlook.

In total there are 41 studios, 1 and 2-bedroom apartments, complete with retail space and opposite Victoria Park, providing stylish homes for buyers who wish to live near open green space whilst still being close to central London.

Park Place is perfect for homeowners looking for a relaxed lifestyle in a leafy London community yet within close proximity to an array of amenities and convenient transport links into Central London.

Park Place was transformed from the former Ballards Lane Police Station after it was purchased by Aitch Group in 2017. The Ballards Lane Police Station was famous for investigating high profile cases during the Victorian and Edwardian eras such as the infamous Black-Hand Gang during Victorian times, the Finchley baby kidnappers Amelia Sach and Annie Walters in 1903 and the Tube train murders of 1939.

Designed by HTA architects, the site now consists of an elegant three-storey building with floor-to-ceiling windows, covered balconies and a brick façade, recalling the brick façade of the former police station, paying homage to the site’s former use.

The new apartments at Park Place range in size from 410 sq ft for a studio apartment up to 924 sq ft for a two-bedroom apartment, are modern and comfortable. All the apartments are designed to be light and roomy, a breath of fresh air in a city that can often feel crowded, with each apartment benefitting from a cohesive design throughout. The reception rooms are large enough to entertain, yet also have a cosy and intimate ambience, creating the feeling of a safe and homely pad.

Natural materials and modern finishes are used throughout the apartments. Neutral colour palettes on the walls, floors and kitchen furnishings bounce natural light around the interiors whilst the full height glazing provides views over the park.

Each show apartment is dressed using a slightly different colour scheme for the soft furnishings ranging from monochromatic and art deco, Scandi décor, to full of bright pops of colour so buyers will be able to view at least one apartment that is similar to their own design tastes. Clean and modern, whether purchased un-furnished or furnished, Park Place is a great canvas for buyers to make their new home truly their own.

Each apartment is designed to a high specification including a fully fitted Nobilia kitchen with Bosch fitted appliances, timber flooring throughout hallways, living rooms and kitchens, contemporary black switches and sockets and fitted wardrobes to the master bedrooms. The apartments also benefit from a passenger lift to all floors, a reception area with secure post boxes for each apartment, bike storage and parking spaces available.

Directly across the road, buyers at Park Place can enjoy the greenery of Victoria Park which boasts vast green space with a café, gardens, and a playgrounds as well as sporting facilities. Not only is Park Place directly next to this highly sought after green space, but there are also a vast range of restaurants within close proximity, including Two Brothers which is a down-to-earth seafood spot where chefs make use of local and seasonal ingredients and Natural Health which is a family-run health store with a wide selection of products from vitamins to foods.

There are also a host of other eclectic independent stores such as the family run A-Z Grocers. When not in the park, Finchley residents can stay in shape in one of a number of local gyms and fitness classes; Park View Health Club offers a personal and modern environment to work out in.

Park Place is well connected with West Finchley Station and Finchley Central Station with both just a 10 minute walk away. Trains into central London from Finchley Central and West Finchley Stations take just under half an hour – perfect for commuting. Heathrow Airport, for those looking forward to travelling again, is also just a 40 minute drive away.

Chelsea Reynolds, Director at Aitch Group commented: “We are pleased to further expand our offering of exceptional and affordable homes in London with Park Place in Finchley and believe that the array of show apartments in the development will enable buyers to easy envisage themselves living in the scheme. The location of these apartments, adjacent to a vast, leafy, open space whilst also surrounded by all that the Finchley community has to offer, is a rare find in London. Park Place offers buyers a park-side home, just a few footsteps from greenery but within easy reach of bustling city life. As the development is completed now with the show apartments furnished, we are delighted to be able to offer them ready for move-ins before Christmas.”

Prices start from £350,000 unfurnished and the opportunity to purchase the furniture if requested.
