Riverstone has recently acquired its third residence - The Bishops Avenue by Hampstead Heath.

The 2.5 acre-site on The Bishops Avenue will set new standards for sustainability and the creation of social value in the integrated retirement community sector.

Riverstone’s first two residences Riverstone Kensington and Riverstone Fulham are due to complete this summer.

The Bishops Avenue will have a strong commitment to sustainability and social value, with the project focused on an all-electric energy strategy targeting a net zero carbon plan.

Paul Vesty, Chief Development Officer of Riverstone, commented: “The acquisition of Riverstone’s third residence marks another important milestone as we prepare to open Riverstone Kensington in June and Riverstone Fulham late summer 2022.

“We look forward to expanding Riverstone’s mix of prime London locations, wide ranging amenities and expert team to include sector-leading sustainability and social value credentials.

“Bishops Avenue sits adjacent to Hampstead Heath, and we are confident there will be significant demand for this type of exceptional later living in this outstanding location.”

Senior living advisers Knight Frank are forecasting a 22% increase in demand for retirement communities in the next five years.

The team includes well-known architects RG&P, designers Bowler James Brindley and landscape architect Andy Sturgeon.

The first residents are expected to move into The Bishops Avenue Riverstone in 2025.
