New plans for Cloister Corner

New plans for Cloister Corner

23/04/2022 by Buildington

Barratt London is planning to submit new plans for the Cloister Corner site in May 2022.

The new plans propose building 290 new homes, including 35% of affordable units.

The scheme would be car-free and will create a new connection east-west through the site opening up an additional pedestrian access route to North Acton Station through North Acton Playing Fields.

Barratt London bought the site from Clearview in 2021. Work on site would start in early 2023.

The site sits on the boundary of the ‘Southern Gateway’, a key part of the Old Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation (OPDC) area, for which the Mayor of London has set a target to see 25,500 new homes delivered by 2035.
