Helical Bar is pleased to announce the successful letting of a further 73,000 sq ft of office space and 9,000 sq ft of retail space at 200 Aldersgate, EC1, all of which has been secured within the past six weeks. A total of 18 deals have now been completed at the building, which, combined with a further two office floors currently under offer, means that circa 220,000 sq ft in the building is currently let.
The new office tenants are:-
- Cass Business School – 21,528 sq ft, part second floor, advised by Deloitte
- The Association of Train Operating Companies – 22,563 sq ft, part second floor, also advised by Deloitte
- K Line UK Limited – 22,623 sq ft, part sixth floor, advised by CBRE
- Agence France Presse – 6,269 sq ft, fifteenth floor, advised by Farebrother
The agreed rents range from circa £40 psf to £55 psf.
These new tenants will be joined by Giant, the bicycle specialist, which will shortly open its exciting new flagship cycle store at ground and lower ground floors. The store will sell its full range of bikes, accessories and apparel as well as offering a comprehensive cycle maintenance service, providing a useful amenity for existing and potential office tenants. This letting also further reinforces the vibrant and diverse occupier mix in the building.
The remaining available space comprises:
Third floor – 43,945 sq ft
Fourth floor – 41,813 sq ft
Fifth floor – 33,678 sq ft
Ninth floor – 15,075 sq ft
The third, fourth and fifth floors are available as part floors with units from 17,000 sq ft upwards. The quoting rent is from £45, the letting agents are CBRE and Savills.
