Demolition works at One Nine Elms site were completed by contractors McGee in May 2015 and Balfour Beatty has been making good progress with the groundworks for the 2 new towers.
CI-One has been selected as the main contractor for the development and will be moving forward with the next phase of works in early 2016.
The works taking place over the next few months include:
• Core out of the existing market towers piles and formation of new piles.
• Installation of sheet piles to the perimeter of the site.
• Mobilisation of main contractors CI-One on site and construction of new site accommodation.
• Works will take place on trial pits above the Thames water sewer.
• The hoardings will be extended along the CGMA boundary line.
• Materials will be delivered to the site and works will take place for the formation of the piling platform.
