King Edwards

The King Edwards site in Hackney has been disused since the 1990s and over the course of 2016, it will be transformed by the project which is being run by Linden Homes in conjunction with the London Borough of Hackney.

Seventeen apartments will be privately owned and will include 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and 3 and 4 bedroom duplexes.

The site, where King Edward’s Road and Tryon Road meet, is less than half a mile from London Fields station; half a mile from Cambridge Heath station and less than a mile to Hackney Central.

The famous Columbia Road Flower market is just over a mile away, while Victoria Park is a short walk away (going south east) and London Fields, with its beautiful heated 50 metre pool and lido is a short walk away (heading north west).

Linden Home Eastern’s regional sales and marketing manager, Roseanne Bullen said that because of the likely high demand for the homes, prospective customers might want to register their interest sooner rather than later:

“With a location like this one, we are expecting a lot of interest in the apartments and duplexes. Both London Fields and Cambridge Heath overground stations are in walking distance with Hackney Central underground being less than a mile away making these new build properties even more of a draw. It would be sensible to get in touch with us now to ensure we can keep you informed and let you know when the first homes are due to be released.”
