Founded in 1990, Currell was an independent residential and commercial agency, specialising in north and east London. It was one of the best-known independently-owned London firms, and has offices in Islington, Clerkenwell, Hackney, Hackney Wick and Victoria Park. Known for the strength of its substantial lettings, residential development business and block management business, the group also operates successful residential sales and new homes divisions together with a general practice commercial professional department.

Savills acquired Currell in December 2018. The acquisition was key strategic opportunity for expansion, bolstering Savills existing East London office network in Islington, Shoreditch, Wapping and Canary Wharf.
