Cadogan has acquired a residential portfolio of almost 200 properties in South Kensington and Earls Court in London.

The acquisition was made from property investment manager Brandeaux, and comprises the residential elements of the former Thurloe and Gunter Estates. The properties include freeholds subject to over 160 long leasehold interests, plus 9 statutory tenancies and 8 flats subject to short-term tenancies. The acquisition cost just over £47 million.

Hugh Seaborn, Chief Executive Officer of Cadogan, said “We are delighted to have secured this portfolio as it complements our substantial holding of residential freeholds in Chelsea and Knightsbridge. This represents an exceptional opportunity for us to acquire complementary residential interests close to our existing holdings and core destinations of Sloane Street, Sloane Square, King’s Road and Duke of York Square.”
