St William is a new joint venture between National Grid and the Berkeley Group that aims to develop major residential and mixed-use schemes across London and the South East. The partnership brings a large portfolio of brownfield land owned by the National Grid together with the design and build expertise of the Berkeley Group, in a move that has the potential to unlock over 7,000 homes during the next 14 years. St William is a proud member of the Berkeley Group, which was voted Britain's Most Admired Company across all industries in 2011. Berkeley has been ranked Britain's most sustainable major housebuilder for the last eight years in a row by the Next Generation benchmark. In 2014, the business supported a total of 21,000 jobs, equating to 5.6 jobs for every home built.
