2006 August - Planning agent Hepher Dixon wins appeal for Hackney Wick project - Hepher Dixon has secured planning permission at appeal for a mixed-use regeneration scheme at Felstead Street, Hackney Wick, East London, in the London Borough of Hackney, on behalf of for Family Mosaic, a leading housing association. The Felstead Street project, designed by Stephen Davy Peter Smith Architects, proposes the demolition of the existing buildings on the site and the provision of 119 new homes, including affordable housing, in two blocks. The buildings extend to between 4 – 12 storeys in height and also comprise new commercial floorspace and associated car parking and landscaping works.
