The Grade II* listed 31-35 Eastcheap building has been granted planning permission by the City of London for a mansard roof extension, reports Trehearne Architects.

The building was originally designed by R L Roumieu and built in 1868. The Gothic style office building was a sensation back in the day and was widely reported in the building press of the time. The refurbishment and redevelopment of this building and three other properties will complete in Summer 2017.
