South West Lands is a build to rent development on Wembley Park site in Wembley, London HA9

Phase 1 Phase 1 (3a)
Residential block up to 18 storeys, with 3 storey link building, basement plant area, retail units facing onto station square. 188 units built January 2017 - September 2019. Architect: White Ink Architects. See more Ferrum building.

Phase 2 (3b, 4&5)
3 reinforced concrete frame residential blocks of up to 17 storeys, providing 553 new homes. Construction will last from January 2018 - Q1 2021. Architect: Ryder Architects.

2020 June - Quintain sells 213 affordable homes across two blocks in the Wembley Park masterplan to Legal & General Affordable Homes (L&G). The £62m deal marks L&G’s first acquisition from Quintain and in Brent. The homes are in Wembley Park’s Vantage and Bowery developments (at Plots SW05 and E01/02 respectively). The homes were sold as part of a competitive process, started in 2019, managed by JLL. Both buildings are currently under construction with Vantage planned for completion in July 2020 and Bowery in Q4 2020, with residents expected to move in shortly after the buildings’ respective completions.

All 99 units in the Bowery development are homes for affordable rent, each meeting The Mayor of London’ size standards and with their own private balcony. These homes also have a shared garden with a neighbouring block to the west and look out over the new 7-acre park to the north. They sit next to a play park and multi-sports games area and will have a nursery and large gym nearby. Residents also benefit from underground parking.

Vantage and Bowery buildings complete

Two new Build to Rent buildings, Vantage and Bowery, have now completed, reports Executive Architect Hunters.

Sold to Legal & General Affordable homes in 2020, Vantage offers 114 and Bowery 99 new apartments for rent. Every home within the 14 floors has a private terrace or balcony and specifications include floor to ceiling ‘art deco’ style windows echoing local vernacular. Many homes have views to central London over Wembley Stadium, public realm spaces and access to landscaped roof gardens.
