2018 May - Scandinavian fashion giant COS decides to take 9,500 sqft of space, located within the listed former post office building at the entrance to the scheme fronting on to Upper Street. Taking the unit on a 15-year lease, the leading Scandinavian brand, which is part of the H&M Group, has enjoyed huge success over the last eight years since it first opened in the UK. The latest store will join COS’s portfolio spread across other prime London locations including Regent Street, High Street Kensington and Covent Garden. Cushman & Wakefield, Orme Retail and Shelley Sandzer are joint retained agents for Islington Square. COS was unrepresented.
