The first residents at Aqua are set to move into their homes imminently, with the entire development set to be fully occupied by July 2016.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “Construction began at Aqua at the start of the year and it has been exciting to see the two apartment buildings starting to take shape in recent months.

“We are now at the stage where all of the apartments have been sold and we are about to welcome our first residents to their new homes.

“Aqua is bringing quality residential development to a site earmarked for that purpose, while also bringing community contributions of more than £750,000 to the local area.

“We look forward to seeing building work reach completion next summer.”

Fairview will contribute £636,399 to the local area as part of the Section 106 planning agreement for Aqua, while a further £113,699 Community Infrastructure Levy payment will also be made by the developer.

Under the Section 106 agreement, Fairview will contribute £164,564 towards education and libraries, £108,150 for healthcare, £53,412 for highways, and £10,623 for community facilities.

A total of £125,000 will be spent on public realm improvements and £112,576 will go towards the New River path, while a £38,000 contribution will be made to Transport for London.

Aqua, which is being built by Fairview New Homes, comprises just 2 apartment blocks – Lake House and Spring House. Apartments in Lake House are now sold out, but there’s a handful of properties remaining within Spring House.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “Aqua is an ideal location for those looking for a high-specification apartment which places them within easy reach of the delights of London living.

“Our 1-bedroom apartments offer the very best in style and luxury, with a top specification as part of our Prestige collection, and enjoy a stunning waterside location.

Help to Buy weekend event at Aqua is taking place on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August.

Help to Buy enables home-hunters to buy a new home with just a 5% deposit and a 75% mortgage. The remaining 20% is provided by the government as an equity loan which is interest-free for 5 years.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “Help to Buy has given a huge boost to buyers who are looking to make their move but have not saved enough for a traditional deposit of 10% or above, as the scheme enables them to buy a home of their own with just a 5% deposit.

“We are holding our Help to Buy weekend at Aqua to give buyers the opportunity to ask us any questions they may have about the scheme and how it works. We have extensive experience of Help to Buy and our Sales Negotiators will be more than happy to speak to buyers about how it could benefit them.

“I’d encourage buyers who have their heart set on buying their very own London apartment to visit us during our Help to Buy weekend to find out more.”

Aqua, which is located between Green Lanes and the New River and West Reservoir, will comprise a selection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments within 2 buildings – Spring House and Lake House.

Buyers have already reserved 70% of the new apartments at Aqua development in Manor House, reports Fairview.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “Aqua was launched earlier this year and we’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of interest which the development has received.

“Part of Aqua’s appeal is that it is not a huge development – it comprises just 2 blocks of apartments, so it offers a private, exclusive lifestyle.

“Its close proximity to Manor House tube station – which is only 500m away – is also a key factor. Manor House is on the Piccadilly line on the boundary of zones 2 and 3 and offers services to Leicester Square in less than 20 minutes – so central London is never far away for our residents.

“The apartments at Aqua also boast a high specification as part of our Prestige collection, with a focus on use of natural materials and finishes to create a luxurious, elegant effect.

“For all of these reasons and more, I’d encourage home-hunters interested in the new apartments at Aqua to visit us without delay to find out more.”

Home-hunters can take a 3D tour which shows how Aqua will look when complete by visiting www.fairview.co.uk.

The development site, which is located between Green Lanes and the New River and West Reservoir, was formerly home to offices. The site was earmarked for residential development by Hackney Council in its Manor House Area Action Plan in 2013.

Fairview began work on-site at Aqua earlier this year and construction is progressing well. Aqua will comprise a selection of 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments which are being built within 2 buildings – Spring House and Lake House.

One of the local authority’s key aims for development on the site was to create a new pedestrian link between Green Lanes and the New River Walk, which will be created within Aqua.

Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “Our programme of building work at Aqua is continuing and it’s wonderful to see the development starting to take shape.

“We’ve received an overwhelming response to these new homes from buyers, and we are looking forward to welcoming our first new residents to their homes at Aqua in September.

“This development site was earmarked for residential development as part of the Manor House Area Action Plan and we are proud to be delivering a scheme which will enhance the local area while delivering the council’s vision of creating improved pedestrian connections between Green Lanes and the New River Walk.”

As part of the Section 106 planning agreement for Aqua, Fairview will contribute £112,576 towards the New River path, £10,623 for community facilities and £125,000 for public realm improvements.
