Overview

Oval Village is a mixed-use development in Kennington, London SE11.

The site on 2ha will be redeveloped with 738 new homes, offices, retail and leisure facilities.

The development includes 236 affordable homes (35% by habitable room. See Zone at Oval Village).

The site benefits from views over Oval Cricket Ground.

The Pinnacle
The Pinnacle is an 18-storey tower with views over the Kia Oval to the South, Vauxhall in the West and London’s iconic skyline to the North. The building comprises a collection of Manhattan, one, two and three-bedroom homes.
Completions 2026.

The Gasholder Building
The Gasholder Building is in the south-east corner of the Oval Gas Works site within the Grade II listed gasholder.
Units: 215; Height Range: 4-10 storeys; Concierge / Leisure use: 10,000 sq. ft.

The Lime Grove House
The Lime Grove public space and the proposed residential buildings that face onto Woodall Lane.
Units: 80; Height Range: 4 - 8 storeys

The Vauxhall Street Building
The complex includes Vauxhall Street fronting office building Oval Works.
Units: 210; Height Range: 7-18 storeys.

Juniper Gardens
Juniper Gardens is set over 16 storeys and comprises Manhattan, 1, 2 and 3 bedroom homes set around a landscaped central garden.
Completions from Q3 2024 to Q1 2025.

Phoenix Court
The first phase of the development. Northeast corner of the site on the eastern side of Cutler’s Way, to the north of the Grade II listed Gasholder No.1.
Units: 233; Height Range: 8 - 16 storeys.
Completions Q4 2022 to Q4 2023.

The Investor Collection
The Investor Collection is a carefully curated selection of homes. The Manhattan and one-bedroom apartments have been chosen for their great rental yields, capital appreciation potential and desirability for residents.

Ground floor office and retail space will be delivered across the scheme from summer 2024 onwards.



History
Tesco Kennington site. The development was named Oval Village ahead of the launch in February 2019. Prior to that, the site was known as Oval Gasworks.
