Overview

St John's Way is a regeneration of St John's Hill - a 1930s Peabody estate next to the station in Battersea, London SW11.

Designed by Hawkins/Brown architects, the total development is delivered in three phases, and will provide 599 new homes (up from the existing 353) in a mix of 1-, 2-, 3- and 4-bedroom apartments.

Phase I of the redevelopment (153 homes) was completed in April 2016 and included 80 homes for social rent, 6 shared ownership and 67 private sale. All apartments in the first phases were sold in 2017.

Phase II comprises 163 social rent and 35 Shared Ownership homes and is launched in autumn 2021.

The development includes 13,600 square metres of open space, a new public route from Clapham Junction station to Wandsworth Common, commercial space and a new community hub.
