Home to Royal Geographical Society since 1913.

The building offers rooms for hire - hold a meeting for 20, seat 100 for dinner, host a conference for 400, or organise a lecture to an audience of 750.

History

The Queen Anne style house was built in 1874-5 to the designs of Richard Norman Shaw for William and Alice Lowther.

Extension added in 1928-30 by G. L. Kennedy and F. B. Nightingale for Royal Geographical Society.
