26 Kensington Gore was built in 1874-75 for the National Training School for Music.
The building is currently used as a private residence.
History
The building was designed by architect Lieutenant H.H. Cole and the foundation stone was laid by the Duke of Edinburgh.
The building was vacant from 1896-1903 until the Royal College of Organists took a lease for 99 years and stayed there until 1991.
Season 1 of popular TV series Mr. Selfridge showed this building as Mr. Selfridge's London residence from 1906.
