Keybridge is a new residential-led development in Vauxhall, London SW8.

Progress Update

All balconies have now been installed at Keybridge Capital, reports Mount Anvil in the latest construction update. The crane can now be dismantled and will be taken down by the end of the month. The terraces on floor 17 and 18 are also complete in the building that is due to complete in early 2021.

The landscaping works to the entrance of Keybridge Capital will start in mid-November, with completion for this set in December 2020.

Progress Update

There have now been 165 completions at Keybridge Lofts, reports developer Mount Anvil. The final completions will have taken place by October.

The scaffolding has been taken down at Keybridge Capital and the façade is taking shape with the metal sections, windows, insulation and vapour barriers installed.

35 of the balconies have been installed and the first fix of apartment party walls is finished throughout the whole building. Kitchens and wardrobes have been installed all the way up to level 18.

The gym, pool and spa are complete, and the landscaping will be finished in October.

Completion at Keybridge is on track for Q1 2021, which means buyers will be eligable for the current stamp duty reduction.

Progress Update

The first quarter of 2020 has been packed full of productivity and progress at Keybridge, reports developer Mount Anvil. 78 homes have completed at Keybridge Tower so far.

With work on Keybridge Tower wrapping up, Keybridge Capital is on track too with the façade taking shape with metal sections, windows, insulation and vapour barrier installed up to floor 14.

The first fix of apartment party walls, underfloor heating pipework and floor screed are complete up to floor 13. Another first fix is of the plumbing and electricals, plus internal apartment partition walls are complete up to floor 10.

The plastering, bathroom tiling and timber floor laying is working its way up the floors. As is the kitchen and wardrobe installation, currently installed up to floor 5 and 4 respectively.

Last month Mount Anvil's CEO Killian Hurley joined Sara Waller (Co-Strategic Director Sustainable Growth and Opportunity, London Borough of Lambeth), and Christopher Toye (Executive Head of Wyvil Primary), at Keybridge in Vauxhall to celebrate the topping out of the building housing the new Wyvil Primary School.

The school will offer 350 more primary places for Vauxhall, along with the space and facilities to give future generations of local kids the best possible start in life.

New homes are still available for sale at Keybridge, with prices starting from £975,000 for a 2-bedroom apartment.

Progress Update

The reinforced concrete frame that the 37-storey Keybridge Lofts block will be built around has now been completed, as well as its secondary steel frame, reports Mount Anvil.

The construction of partition walls throughout the block is now complete, whilst plastering of those partitions is nearing completion at level 35. Painting is complete to level 29, and kitchens are installed to level 32 as scheduled.

The residents pool and gym area are also progressing well, with all basic structural work complete. The next stage will be internal fit out, which will consist of building walls and tiling.

Work on Keybridge Capital also continues at a steady pace, with the stair core and lift completed, slabs installed up to level 14 and first fix starting on levels 2 and 3. The external façade has reached level 7, and underfloor heating and screeding are up to level 4.

Over 400 residents are now living at keybridge, across more than 250 apartments. The scheme’s car park is also now complete and in use by those residents.

Mount Anvil is making great progress at the 37-storey Keybridge Lofts building. The reinforced concrete frame that the block will be built around is now complete, and its secondary steel frame is built up to level 36-37.

The partition walls in the block are currently complete up to level 33. Plastering of the partitions is complete to level 29, painting to level 18, and kitchens are installed up to level 24 as scheduled. The residents’ pool area is also progressing well, with the basic structural work due for completion this month.

Elsewhere Mount Anvil has continued to welcome Keybridge residents to their new homes. Over 400 residents have now moved in, across more than 250 apartments. The scheme’s carpark is also now complete and in use by those residents.

Mount Anvil and A2Dominion have bought Keybridge House, Vauxhall from BT Group for £92.5 million.

Formerly the site of the world's largest digital international telephone exchange, planning consent has been secured to create the UK’s tallest residential brick tower, offering more than 400 new homes and 3,500 sq m of new commercial and retail space.

Killian Hurley, Chief Executive, Mount Anvil, said: “At 129 metres high, Keybridge will be an iconic new London landmark, offering incredible views over the city and exceptional quality London homes. We are thrilled to be playing our part in the next chapter of this outstanding site’s history, and creating a world-class legacy for this great city.”

Darrell Mercer, Chief Executive, A2Dominion, said: “This important site in the Vauxhall Nine Elms Battersea Opportunity Area will deliver hundreds of much-needed new homes, including properties for sale, private rent and shared ownership that will be available through our new FABRICA by A2Dominion brand.”

Work is due to start on-site shortly, and completion is expected at the end of 2018.

As part of the redevelopment, land will be gifted to Lambeth Council to create a new primary school.
