Hounslow Civic Centre building in Hounslow, London TW3.

The new building is smaller and more cost-efficient than the former civic centre, incorporating a library and cafe, on the site of a car park in Bath Road, just west of Hounslow High Street.

The civic centre in Hounslow Town Centre is a seven-storey building designed as a hub for the local community. As well as accommodating all of the council’s office staff and civic meeting rooms, it features a “state-of-the-art” library on the first floor, exhibition space and café.

Bouygues UK was the main contractor for the office project. Construction started in January 2017.

This is the commercial part of the development. See 88 Lampton Road for the residential element that will create 919 homes.
