10 Portman Square
10 Portman Square is a new building with 113,000 sq ft office and 20,000 sq ft of retail space in Marylebone, London W1.
In April 2010 British Land bought 2-14 Baker Street in the West End for £29million. Planning consent was granted in 2009 for 139,000 sq ft of office space with retail units at ground level.
The new nine-storey rectangular building will have a central core with natural light on all four sides. All of the office floors will be totally column-free, and they will range in size from 9,500 sq ft to 18,000 sq ft. The 5th and 7th floors will also benefit from large accessible terraces. The development has been designed to achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent'environmental rating.
Award-winning architecture and interior design practice Jestico+Whiles led the design of 10 Portman Square, which offers column-free floorplates of 18,500 sq ft and benefits from natural light on all four sides stunning views across Portman Square.
